Is there disabled parking?
Cheltenham Town Hall has three disabled parking spaces available for select events. To enquire about disabled parking availability for the event you are attending, please contact our customer contact team tickets@cheltenhamtrust.org.uk
We do not have general customer parking available on-site.
There is ample on street parking adjacent to the venue on Imperial Square and there is a car park a short three minute walk from the venue, located on Rodney Road.

How can I book carer and accessible tickets?
If you require a carer ticket or have any accessibility requirements please book your tickets over the phone by calling 01242 528 764. The lines are open 9.00am – 5.00pm, Monday – Friday.
Is there disabled access?
Yes, Cheltenham Town Hall has ramped access to the front of the building, and the ground floor of the venue is accessible for wheelchairs. We are able to accommodate wheelchair users on the ground floor in the Main Hall, Pillar Room, Drawing Room, Holst Suite and Regency Café.
Our auditorium is located on the ground floor and is accessible for customers with limited mobility. The balconies are only accessible via stairs, without lift access.
Our toilets, both male and female, have cubicles accessible for wheelchair users.
We have a hearing aid loop system downstairs in the auditorium for those who use hearing aids.

Do I have to climb stairs to the auditorium as I have limited mobility?
Our auditorium is located on the ground floor and is accessible for customers with limited mobility. The balconies are only accessible via stairs, without lift access.
Can I bring my guide dog to an event?

By Train
The nearest station is Cheltenham Spa, which is 1½ miles from the Town Hall and taxis are readily available from the station.
Stagecoach’s Service D bus also runs regularly from the train station to Clarence Street in the town centre, which is a 5-10 minute walk from the Town Hall. For timetable information, please check Stagecoach’s website.
By Bus
National Express coaches serve Cheltenham Bus Station, which is located in the centre of Cheltenham, just a short walk from Cheltenham Town Hall.
Local bus services operate in and around Cheltenham and neighbouring towns and villages.
The Arle Court Transport Hub in Cheltenham provides convenient travel options for residents and visitors alike. Whether you’re commuting within Cheltenham and Gloucester or arriving from the M5, the hub offers seamless connections.
Stagecoach buses operate from Arle Court, delivering passengers directly to Cheltenham’s Promenade, just a four-minute walk from the Town Hall. With its strategic location and efficient service, the hub ensures easy access to the heart of the town. For more information click here.

By Car
Cheltenham is located off junctions 10 and 11 of the M5 and on the A40 from London and Oxford. Please be aware you can only exit the M5 at junction 10 in a southbound direction, and can only access the M5 at junction 10 if you intend to travel on the northbound carriageway.

Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Can my child attend an event for free?
If your baby/toddler can sit on your lap comfortably throughout the performance, without causing disruption to you or others, you are not required to have a separate ticket for them.
Children from the age of three are required to have a ticket, unless the event is a children’s event, please check directly with our customer contact team.
You may bring your baby or toddler to an event, but if they start to cry or are unsettled, we kindly request that you take them out of the auditorium until they are ready to return without disrupting other customers and/or the performers/artists.
How do I find out if there is an age limit for an event?
We will advertise age limits for shows on the event page. If an event does not have an age limit/recommendation and you would like to understand if it is appropriate for a certain age, please contact tickets@cheltenhamtrust.org.uk to discuss.
Are there baby changing facilities?
Yes, baby-changing facilities are provided within the wheelchair-friendly toilets.
Do you accept cash payments?
Please note: We do not accept cash payments. All transactions must be made by card only.

Where can I collect my ticket?
Paperless Ticketing — Implemented Since September 2024
To enhance convenience and support sustainability, we have transitioned to paperless ticketing.
Most customers opt for our e-tickets, which are sent directly to your inbox immediately after completing your online booking and can be conveniently added to your mobile wallet. If you prefer, e-tickets may also be purchased at the venue on the night of the show, subject to availability. Please note that door sales are card payment only.
When you arrive at the venue, simply show your e-ticket on your mobile phone or tablet for scanning. Alternatively, if you’d like a printed ticket, you can select the print-at-home option during your online booking.

Can I move my seats after purchasing tickets?
Unfortunately, once seats have been paid for, we are generally unable to make changes. However, in certain circumstances, our Customer Contact Team will do their best to assist with relocating your seats where possible.
I gave you the incorrect details and I have not received my e-ticket.
Please ensure that you check your details at check out stage. If you notice if you have entered the incorrect details, please let tickets@cheltenhamtrust.org.uk know as soon as possible, as you will not receive your e-ticket without the correct email address.
Do you have a waiting list for sold out events? How do I get on it?
You are welcome to contact our tickets@cheltenhamtrust.org.uk and ask to be added to the waiting list for an event, should press or guest tickets become available. Please state how many tickets you require, your name and telephone number.
I want to know when tickets for a particular event will be going on sale, how do I find out?
Please check our Facebook or Instagram for on sale announcements, or see our website for updates. Alternatively you can contact tickets@cheltenhamtrust.org.uk and ask to be contacted when a particular show goes on sale.
Can I still get into an event if I am late?
We recognise that sometimes people will run late due to circumstances beyond their control. However, to minimise disruption to other customers and the performers, you will be seated at a suitable break in the performance at the nearest available seat, which may not be the allocated seat you booked. You are welcome to move to your allocated booked seat during the interval.
Please be aware that some performances have a strict ‘no latecomers’ policy. In this case, you will be requested to wait until the interval to take your seat.
When will the event end and is there an interval?
Please check with the front of house staff upon entrance to the event for the proposed end time and interval time as this can vary depending on the type of performance and/or request from the performers/artists.
We request that if customers need to leave the auditorium before the end of an event, that they do so without causing disruption or disturbance to others.
Is there a cloakroom available?
Please check with our Front of House team on the night, if a cloakroom is available.
Is there heating and/or air conditioning?
Cheltenham Town Hall does not have air conditioning, however during periods of hot weather we do everything we can to ensure the building is kept at a comfortable temperature.

Can I pre-order drinks?
You can pre-order your interval drinks at the bar before the event begins. Please let the staff know your order, and it will be ready for you during the interval.
Can I buy food at the venue?
Our Garden Bar serves a selection of food. Please check opening times here before your visit.
Can I bring food and drink to the venue?
Sealed bottles of water can be brought on-site. Food and drink cannot be brought into the building, unless purchased from our on-site café or bar. Food and drink may be confiscated at the door.
How do I retrieve a lost item at the venue?
For all lost property enquiries, please email tickets@cheltenhamtrust.org.uk and put the words LOST PROPERTY in the subject line.
How can I provide feedback as a customer to your venue?
