The Gloucestershire Young Musician of the Year Finals return to the iconic Cheltenham Town Hall in January 2027. Brought to you by Gloucestershire Academy of Music, Gloucestershire Symphony Orchestra and Cheltenham Festivals, this year’s competition will see some of the county’s most talented young musicians performing solo recitals to a panel of world class musicians and judges. The winner will be announced at the end of the concert and will take home the Hewitt-Jones Memorial Prize and a cheque for £500. They will also perform a concerto of their choice with Gloucestershire Symphony Orchestra as part of the world-renowned Cheltenham Music Festival in July 2027.
