The Wilson Learning Team is delighted to invite our Home Educators Community to be among the first to explore our brand-new museum galleries! We’re opening the doors to home educated learners aged 4–14 for a fun, hands-on afternoon of discovery and exploration.
Following an extensive four-year renovation and redesign, The Wilson’s museum galleries are reopening this October. The new galleries have been shaped by our local communities, who have helped us explore the stories that matter and what makes Cheltenham unique.
Now, we’d love to continue that conversation with you!
Join us for a free afternoon of exploring and trialling our new gallery-based learning resources, self-guide packs and trails. You can choose what interests you and explore as much or as little as you like.
As some of the very first people to use these new resources, your feedback will be invaluable. We’d love to hear what you enjoy, what works well and what you’d like to see in the future, helping us make our learning provision as fun, engaging and accessible as possible for all learners.
Expect a hands-on afternoon exploring a range of art, history and museum collections – with plenty to discover along the way!
Come along, explore the galleries, try something new and help us shape the future of learning at The Wilson.
Accompanying adults do not require a ticket but please note this is not a drop off session and as a self-led activity, adults are encouraged to join in activities with their children.
